"Even I can't kill this one", I thought, as Sarah taught us about "air plants". This unique vegetation is so hearty, that it doesn't even need soil. Air plants look tropical and come in many interesting varieties -- little spikes, curly needles, and even with tiny flower blossoms. In this class, we learned how to create gifts for friends and decorations for our home.
After the class, we toured Creek Side Gardens' multiple greenhouses that were filled with colorful blossoms. It had been a long winter and we were ready for some bright colors to offset the gloom of late spring snow storms in Denver.
On May 2, the Roxborough Windflowers Club visited Creek Side Gardens in Littleton, Colorado. This outing was one of ten activities we plan per year.
